The Chloropool Deck is a great way to relax, soak up the sun, and store up energy for the rest of your stay.  This lounging center includes everything from cushy lounge chairs, ice cream vendors, hot dog carts and shady tropical trees.  

 

The chloroplasts in the cell absorb the sun's rays and use it to produce sugars for the cell's use.  On the Chloropool Deck, guests can tan, lay in the sun, and enjoy a sugary treat.  

 

The Chloropool Deck surrounds the Mitochondrockin' Water Adventure.  Once you have stored up energy from relaxing on the deck, you are only a short distance away from some big thrills!  In a similar way, a cell's mitochondria use the sugars from the chloroplasts to produce energy.
